The land has always been fertile but now we try to enhance it by practicing environmentally friendly farming. We have reduced chemical spraying to a minimum.
We place our plant waste amoung the flowers so that nature can decompose it for the benefit of the plants. We have built a biodigester to break down our animal waste so we can generate fuel and more nutrients for the plants. (that area is in its infancy but it will grow up, God's willing)
Vermiculture is also practiced in specific areas.
